Chocolate Fundue Can use as a frosting, dip, or to make nutty buddies (below)
1 cup peanut butter (or any nut butter)
1 cup date paste *
½ cup cacoa (or unsweetened cocoa)
1 tsp. vanilla
Approx. ½ cup unsweetened almond milk
Process the first 4 ingredients in a food processor. Slowly add almond milk (while processing) until you reach the desired consistency.
*To make date paste: Soak one package of Sunsweet dates in water for at least a couple of hours. Remove the dates (save the liquid) and process them in a food processor until they’re chopped fine. Slowly add the reserved water back in, little bits at a time, until you reach a date paste consistency.
This can be used as a FROSTING, or as a dip for apple slices, bananas, or strawberries.
Nutty Buddies (using chocolate fundue)
Insert half of a peeled banana onto a wooden skewer. Coat with chocolate fundue (and roll in chopped nuts if desired). Freeze.
