Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from www.cydnotter.com (the “Site”).

Personal Information We Collect

We collect information from you when you voluntarily subscribe to our newsletter or blog, place an order, register on our site, take a survey, enter a promotion, sign up at an event, or fill out a form, at which time you may be asked to enter your name, email address, mailing address, billing address, phone number, PayPal or credit card information. You may, of course, visit our site anonymously.

We may also collect and store personal or other information that you voluntarily supply to us online while using this site (for example, when responding via email to a feature provided on the Site).

Your email address will only be used for the purposes for which it is provided (newsletter signup, blog signup, to enter a promotion, or to correspond). We will not use your email address to contact you for unrelated reasons. And we will not share your e-mail address or other information with any third parties such as service providers, contractors, publishers or advertisers. Your information will not be sold, exchanged, transferred or given to any other company without your consent (other than the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service you’ve requested).

Please keep in mind, however, that whenever you voluntarily make your personal information available for viewing on message boards, web logs, through email or chat areas, that information can be seen, collected and used by others besides us. We cannot be responsible for any unauthorized third-party use of such information.

Newsletter Affiliate: Newsletter subscribers are processed through ActiveCampaign, who collects the data provided by the subscriber and subsequently processes/delivers our newsletters. Subscribers can opt-out at any time. Their privacy policy can be viewed by clicking here.

When visitors leave comments on the site, the data shown in the comments form as well as the visitor’s IP address/browser agent string is collected and checked through an automated spam detection service.

Please note that we may share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful requests for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

If you no longer wish to receive email correspondence from us, email us at [email protected] or follow the opt-out procedures set forth in such marketing materials.

Cookies

A cookie is a data file containing an anonymous, unique identifier placed on your device or computer’s browser directory or program data subfolders. Cookies are created when you use your browser to visit a website; the website can then keep track of your movements within the site, help you resume where you left off, remember your login information and other preferences.

Cookies help us remember who you are; they help us to improve our service, identify how many unique users visit us, allow us to track user trends and patterns, and allow us to deliver advertisements which will be relevant to you as outlined in the Advertising Privacy Statement of this document.

Many browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. The methods for doing so vary for each browser. Contact your browser directly for up-to-date information about blocking and deleting cookies or visit https://allaboutcookies.org. However, be advised that blocking cookies may have a negative impact on the functions of many websites.

Server Log Files

Servers automatically record certain information known as Log Files, which track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps. The log file information is automatically reported by your browser each time you make a request to visit a web page, and the information is only used to maintain the server and correct problems and errors.

Advertising Privacy Statement

We currently do not advertise on the Site. However, in the future, we may choose to become affiliated with an internet-based firm for the purposes of placing advertisements on the Site which will be tailored to reflect your interests. Because our advertising partners will use cookies to track your interests on our website and other websites across the internet, this Privacy Policy will be updated to reflect any such affiliation.

By using this Site, you consent to the use of such cookies and the sharing of data captured by such cookies with our third-party advertising partners.

If you reside in a country in the European Economic Area (EEA), under the GDPR and applicable data protection laws you have the rights, among other things, to access your personal data, have us erase it and/or restrict its further processing. If you wish to access or delete your personal data, you can contact the advertiser at the website(s) we’ll provide here in the event we begin to use advertisements on the site.

Additionally, you can opt out of some of these services by visiting the Digital Advertising Alliance’s opt-out portal at http://optout.aboutads.info/.

Affiliate Program Participation

This Site is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by providing links to Amazon.com. As part of this program, the Site will post customized links provided by Amazon to track the referrals to their site. This program utilizes cookies to track visits for the purposes of assigning commissions on these sales.

Social Media and Other Websites

Cydnotter.com provides connections to various social media outlets to help you share our content. Each of those social media outlets is governed by their own Privacy Policy and we have no control over that data.

When a link is provided to other websites, please note that those sites are not owned or governed by this privacy policy. Please view the privacy policies of any website that you visit.

We may from time to time embed articles, videos or images from other websites into our content. By clicking on embedded content from other sites, those websites respond the same as if you had visited that site directly; they collect data about you, use cookies, embed third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content.

Minors

This site is not directed to children under the age of thirteen and we do not knowingly or intentionally collect personal information from minors without parental consent. We do not knowingly allow children under the age of thirteen to publicly post or otherwise distribute personally identifiable information through the Site. If a parent or guardian believes that we have in our database the identification of a child under the age of thirteen, please contact us immediately at [email protected] and we will delete such information from our records.

Your Rights

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to receive a copy of such. You may also ask that your personal information is corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please provide written notice to us at [email protected]. We may ask you to verify your identity before responding to such requests, which is a manual process that may take up to 30 days to complete.

You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority if you believe that our processing of your personal information infringes Data Protection Laws; you may do so in the EU member state of your residence, your place of work or the place of alleged infringement.

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.

Data Retention

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically. If you sign up to receive email newsletters or blogs, your information will be kept indefinitely for the purposes for which you’ve subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time by emailing us at [email protected] or following the opt-out procedures set forth in such marketing materials.

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

Sale of Business or Assets

In the unlikely event that the Site of all of its assets is sold or disposed of as a going concern, whether by merger, sale of assets or otherwise, or in the event of an insolvency, bankruptcy or receivership, the information we have collected about you may be one of the assets sold or merged in connection with that transaction.

Changes

Because the web is an ever-evolving medium, future changes to our Privacy Policy for operational, legal or regulatory reasons may be required, in which case we will post the changes on this website and update the Effective Date of the policy to reflect the date of the changes. By continuing to use the Site after we post any such changes, you accept the Privacy Policy as modified.

Consent

By using our website, you hereby consent to our Privacy Policy and agree to its terms.
